AMD’s next-generation processors will be led by four Ryzen 7000 CPUs, judging according to the latest information reports.
The argument from one of the most well-known Twitter Hardware rumor pedlars there Greymon55 is that AMD plans to first release its Ryzen 7950X and 7900X 7800X and the 7600X, with additional models expected afterward.
7950X7900X7800X7600X7700X is still not in the first lineup.June 17, 2022
The leaker also notes that the 7700X won’t be part of the initial line of Zen 4 CPUs that hit the market. Don’t take this as a reason to not have the typical suspicions about any speculation.
There’s a second Zen 4 leak floating around this morning, as well according to this leak, the date of launch of Ryzen the 7000 series of processors is set to be on September 15. In particular, it’s an image purportedly showing an AMD presentation from China where the date is clearly displayed on a slide, but there are serious doubts as to the authenticity of this.
Particularly, since it’s the context of a tweet(opens in a new tab) sent by an unidentified source (and we aren’t able to verify the content of the tweet however there have been concerns raised by fellow Twitter residents).
Analyze: We’ll just hope that there’s no significant delay for the 7700X
It’s safer to dismiss the launch date of September 15 as a fake date even though we’re not able to tell to be certain, we would not put our faith in it at the moment.
However, it does seem to be in line with what we’ve been hearing from the internet which is the fact that Ryzen 7000 CPUs will be launched in September. It’s a rumor that’s come numerous times and you shouldn’t dismiss this possibility, at all. As of now, this month is to be the most likely launch date for AMD’s next-generation Ryzen processors.
It shouldn’t come as a shock that the four above versions were first to come out from the gates, too and that’s exactly what’s happening with the latest Ryzen chip 5000. We witnessed the 5950X, the 5900X, 5800X, and 5600X first appear in November of 2020. you might recall that the 5700X wasn’t released until quite a while later, not until about a month ago actually.
Let’s hope that the wait is less than that of the previous model, 7700X. We would not think it would be, considering the fact that supply chain concerns are decreasing (and the outlook is to get better in 2022 Fingers crossed that there isn’t any change in this regard).
The 5700X/7700X is an essential component of the Ryzen range due to the fact that it’s an eight-core (16-thread) processor, just like the 5800X/7800X. However, the former is the lower price compared to the latter. In this regard, it’s the best option for a lot of people who are looking for an 8-core processor, rather than the 6-core model (and obviously, hex-core is becoming less and less secure as time goes by).
